LIP APPRECIATION DAY

Finally LIP APPRECIATION DAY IS HERE.

I have prepared well for this holiday with my lip transformation.

The first picture was taken on February 19th, 2009 and the second was on March 16th, 2009

Only month has gone by and my lips are absolutely gorgeous. They are more defined and shaped. All I did was follow few simple steps on how to get fuller lips at home. They are posted on February 19th

The whole regiment did not take a lot of time. I spread it throughout the day. For example, I was performing exercises in my car or while I was watching TV. Tea and honey was applied also while I was either on computer or watching TV in the evening.

You might think I Photoshoped or enhanced pictures? Actually all the pictures posted are real without any enhancement.

Do-it-yourself Facials
- There are a lot of facials that you can do at home; some of them are just a walk to your fridge. Even when you are preparing a salad for your family, rub a piece of a vegetable on your skin for instant nutrition.

LIP TRANSFORMATION UPDATE - 2 WEEKS AFTER



2 weeks has gone by since I started my lip transformation. I think I have achieved even better results.

Posted, is a comparison with this weeks picture and a previous one. I see a difference. I think there is more definition in the lips as well as more fullness.

I am loving the results.

Well it is time for another at home video. This is a follow-up to the previous I posted. When you start doing your facial exercise program, there might be some problems you might run into.


Just like any exercise program, you need warm up and cool down. Well your facial muscles need the same thing. I have demonstrated how to do just that.

Remember it is quality over quantity and keep exercising to achieve results.

In this economic time, I have decided to redesign this blog a little bit. Beauty is becoming a luxury, but we still want to stay beautiful. I have designed a series called "Beauty on a dime", which will demonstrate creative and inexpensive ways to stay beautiful without leaving your home.

LIP CHALLENGE - ONE WEEK LATER

Well it came time to reveal my lips one week after.

As I have mentioned, I started a challenge to reshape and fill my lips. I am achieving this with facial exercise, home remedies and lots of moisturizing.

I think I have achieved a good progress in a matter of a week. (Just to let you know that I took the follow up picture in the same light and the same lip balm has been applied).

  • The corner of my mouth are starting to point up
  • Lower lip is more shapely and full
  • Upper lip is also more defined
  • Wrinkles around my lips are minimized

Look at AMAZING this transformation within one week. I can say that facial exercises have played a big part in this transformation.

GETTING READY FOR LIP APPRECIATION DAY




Hello Everybody


In March we have a wonderful holiday, called LIP APPRECIATION DAY, which is happening on March 16th


Spring is the time of season when we all wake up from winter and take a good look in the mirror. Some of us assess damages from winter, would that be winds or cold, and start taking measures.


I am no exception. As you can see I posted picture of my lips. What I would like to do is to get my lips ready for LIP APPRECIATION DAY. I have a constant problem with dry chapped lips. Sometimes lip balm is not enough, and I know I am not alone with this problem.


There are some great home remedies that I have come across and decided to try them. They are very inexpensive and with economic situation right now, it is absolutely imperative that we try to save on beauty products that could be very expensive at times.


All you need is:
Now, with all the ingredients present, here are the simple home remedies


  1. One of the best at home moisturizers for lips is honey. Apply honey to the lips and leave it there for 10 minutes. Then you can just lick the honey off or wipe it with a cloth
  2. If you have a problem with cold sores, apply tee tree oil on your lips at least once a week. Your chances of cold sores are slim to none with this remedy
  3. Even after all the remedies mentioned above, you still have dry chapped lips, there is one more solution. Soak a cotton ball in tea and apply it on your lips. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Lip exercises. A very simple way to get the blood flowing in your lips. FaceFlex offers great exercises for your lip muscles. They are simple to learn and can be performed anywhere. The exercises will keep your lips toned and minimize wrinkles around your lips.

I am going to do them on a regular basis and post my picture every week. I want you to track the results with me. I know there are a lot of home remedies that promise miracles, but when you actually do them, the do not work. I am trying to show you that it worked. By the end of the month you can notice the difference and draw conclusions for yourself.

A Month Of Friendly Laughs



February is a Friendly Laughs Month.


This holiday is according to Chases Calendar of Events.


I personally think it is a wonderful holiday. With our busy lifestyles we do not get to laugh uncontrollably. It is very important to unwind and spend night or day with friends or family laughing. This could be achieved by watching movies or remembering those moments in life.


Laughing is wonderful for stress relief and you know all of us lead a very stressful life. No matter how much we want to stress less, does not happen, never.


So lets spend the whole month laughing with people that matter to us.


Well, after a hard laugh, you might feel the cheeks fatigue a little. That is a sign of untoned cheek muscles. It can be tackled with simple Facial Exercises by FaceFlex


In order to smile more and laugh like you never laughed before, you need those cheeks and lips and many more other muscles.

Skin Diet

To: Faceflexers



Beautiful skin is every women's dream. In order to get that skin, lotions and expensive creams are not enough. The skin has to be nourished from the inside out.

Some diets are good for the figure, but not always good for the skin. The consequences of these diets are: dry skin, wrinkles and tiredness. Also, if you smoke and consume alcohol, then the chances of having unhealthy skin is significantly higher.

Today I am going to share a secret about skin diet. It all has to do with the products that could be found in


1. Fish

  • Salmon and mackerel contain Omega-3, which are crucial for the skin
  • Fish should be consumed at least 2-3 times a week

2. Avocado

  • Contains Vitamin E, which helps the skin to stay fresh and moisturized
  • Avocado also contains natural oils, which help prevent cellulite and should be consumed once a week

3. Broccoli

  • It contains a lot of Vitamin C and calcium, which help strengthen the bones
  • Broccoli should be a part of the meal at least 3 times a week.

I will continue to bring you at-home remedies on how to stay beautiful and young without spending a fortune on anti-aging "miracle" creams that do no deliver the results.

Also diet is not enough and should also be complemented with facial exercise. It is a natural way to tone the facial muscle and minimize the appearance of wrinkles and lift the sagging skin.

Take Facial Fitness Home

“Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”. Let’s be honest we are the beholder. As we go through life stages, marks appear on our faces. Some are great while others we wish we never had.

We notice that we lose muscle tone, so we start exercising. But notice we exercise only from the neck down. Our body has muscles in the face and neck as well, so why are we ignoring them when we exercise? Muscles of the face can be re-trained like any other muscle to become firmer and stronger again.

When we look in the mirror in the morning we want to see

- Toned skin that is rosy and glowy
- Full pink lips
- Raised eyebrows without under eye puffiness
- Firm chin (preferably one) and raised cheek bones

But instead we see the opposite

- Skin that is grayish and stressed of everyday life is embedded into our skin
- Thin lips with corners of the lips starting point downward
- Eyelids and eyebrows droop with puffiness under the eye
- Sagging of the jaw and appearance of the double chin

In recent years we have been bombarded by “anti-aging” remedies that promise to create miracles. How many of you have bought that “wonderful” cream or lotion and discovered that the results are not what was promised?

With FaceFlex I did not want to create an anti-aging miracle that will take 10-20 years off your face. My goal is to make women look great at any age. When you are 20, 30, 40 or even 50 these ages are fabulous, so why not look the best you can without going under the knife or freezing your face?. Wrinkle free forehead

As I have promised in my last entry, I am going to post facial exercises and the right way to do them. I know that people might think that there are so many ways people might look younger, but non of them work. This is an exercise for your face.

Just think about it. Your body consists of muscles which include facial muscles as well. Then why do we work out from the neck down and ignore from the neck up?

Facial exercise will minimize the look of wrinkles and sagging skin. It will also increase blood circulation to the face and as a result the rejuvenation of the skin cells will increase as well.

Here is a challenge. Please try following forehead exercises for a couple of weeks twice a day and let me know what the results are. If you will be so kind, please send me a picture of before and after. This will be kept totally private and will not be released to anybody else.

Here are the exercises.

Purpose: Exercise 1 and 2 reduces the frown line on the forehead

Exercise 1

  • Create an arch above your brows with index fingers
  • Hold your fingers firm and push the eyebrows up
  • Hold for 5 counts, repeat 5 times. On the last count, hold for an additional 10 counts

Exercise 2

  • Put your fingers just below the hairline
  • Hold your fingers firm and try to frown
  • Hold for 5 counts, repeat 5 times. On the last count, hold for an additional 10 counts

Purpose: reduces lines in between the brown and eliminates the “angry” look

Exercise 3

  • Create a triangle above your brow with index fingers
  • Hold firm and try to frown.
  • Hold for 5 counts, repeat 5 times. On the last count, hold for an additional 10 counts

Please describe exactly what your business does and your target market (ideal customer)

  • FaceFlex is an anti-aging facial exercise program targeted for women and men over the age of 30. Our face has about 52 muscles that can be stimulated to increase firmness and elasticity. It uses the same principles of exercise you would use for any other parts of your body. FaceFlex exercise program consists of 22 facial exercises that targets major muscle groups in the face. By working out our muscles in the face, the chance of our faces defying the age is very high

What makes your business different? What is that you do that makes your business unique?

  • There are no facial exercise programs that are available to people in Toronto and I believe Canada. I like to do fun things and this business has been designed to be fun. The workshops are renamed to FaceFlex parties. The atmosphere is very relaxed, but at the same time people learn about facial fitness and how to do exercise.

Why did you decide to start your own business? How did you get into your particular business?

  • I saw a market need. I noticed wrinkles on my forehead and thought they appeared a little bit early. I knew I wanted to get rid of them fast. I researched everything that is possible to tackle this problem. I came across facial exercise program from about 25 years ago. I have reinvented and reshaped the exercises to make them effective and challenging. After testing it on a few people, I have realized that it is a wonderful product that gives people natural face lift without invasive procedures.

Introducing Facial Fitness
